Police Basketball Tournament Benefits 4-year-old Heart Patient
The annual Police Week Charity Basketball Tournament takes place May 11 at Saint Patrick’s Church on Leroy Street, Binghamton.

This year’s game benefits the family of 4-year-old Jackson Vandermark, son of a Johnson City Police Officer, who recently underwent open-heart surgery. The boy has Shone’s Syndrome and has recently returned home from a heart transplant and long stay at a hospital in New York City. Jackson still requires extensive treatment including more surgeries.
Admission to the Tournament is $10 for all games, entertainment and a party following the games, including food and drinks. Games start at 2 p.m. May 11.
