Search Warrant Leads To 9 Felony Charges In Johnson City
According to a release by the Broome County SIU Task Force and Johnson City Police Department, an investigation by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force on November 7, 2023, resulted in a search warrant at 44 Narwood Street, Johnson City.
During the search, investigators found approximately 4.3 grams of Fentanyl pills,123 Oxycodone pills, digital scales and packaging materials commonly used in the sale in distribution of controlled substances, plus an illegally possessed and loaded Hi-Point 9mm handgun.
The search resulted in charging Donald Galloway with criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd Degree, a loaded firearm, a Class C felony, criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd Degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd Degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th Degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th Degree, and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree (two counts.)
Tyana Campbell was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd Degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th Degree, criminal possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree (two counts.)
Both Donald Galloway and Tyana Campbell were processed at the Johnson City Police Department and transported to the Broome County CAP to await arraignment.
Members of the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, City of Binghamton Police Department, and Village of Johnson City Police Department make up the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.
