Pennsylvania Good Samaritan Becomes a Burglary Victim
Pennsylvania State Police say a woman posed as a maiden in distress in order to help some accomplices steal items from a 75 year old Bradford County man.
Authorities say a woman knocked on the man’s South gate Road home in Rigebury Township at around 8 p.m. September 21 and told him her vehicle broke down and was disabled down the road.
When the man left the house to help her, others came in and stole a Ruger Blackhawk .357 Magnum revolver, Ruger Single Six .22 revolver and a Ruger .22 Hornet rifle from the home.
Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police in Towanda at (570) 265-2186.
