A contractor on the roof of a building at the Calvary Cemetery in Johnson City is credited with helping Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies find a suspect fleeing authorities.

Authorities say they were looking for someone named “Jason Johnson” at a Johnson City hotel after the man told a Deputy his name was “Meyon Wilson” during a traffic stop.

The wanted man fled into the cemetery where the contractor saw him hiding in bushes December 27.

The man turned out to be 31 year old Terell Forbes and is charged with two counts of criminal impersonation.

Officials say Terell is a New York State Parole Absconder on an active warrant.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
