Park Plaza Crash Blamed on Heroin

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say a Johnson City teen admits he used heroin before crashing into a pole on the sidewalk outside a store at the Park Manor Plaza off Hooper Road in Endwell January 28.

18 year old Shawn Bensley is charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and four vehicle and traffic law violations.

He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Union Court at a later date.

There were no reports of injuries.
