Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say 52-year-old Rebecca Meek was driving west in the Village when she lost control of the vehicle, it left the road and hit a concrete retaining wall.  The vehicle came to rest on its side, trapping Meek and a child passenger.

Emergency responders got the pair out and both were transported to Upstate University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sheriff’s officials say Meek was ticked for crossing hazard markings.
