Owego Student Hosts Fire Safety Fair

An Owego Free Academy junior is hosting a Fire Safety Fair June 10.

Kennedy Keefer’s event will feature craft tables and activities for children as well as fire safety demonstrations from noon to 4 p.m. at Owego Free Academy.

Keefer is working toward her Girl Scout Gold Award.

epartment is bringing their ambulance and rescue boat, the Owego Fire Department is bringing a fire truck and Newark Valley Fire is showing how to properly use a fire extinguisher.
