
Oneonta Juvenile Accused of Threatening 911 Center

New York State Police say a child is accused of making terroristic threats.

Troopers say, on September 22, around 40 illegitimate phone calls were made to the Otsego County 911 center between 7 and 9 p.m. Some of the calls threatened the emergency call center and members of law enforcement but did not specify a particular agency.
The investigation led authorities to the City of Oneonta on September 23 where they talked to an adult and a teen. The juvenile was arrested and charged with felony making a terroristic threat.
The child was issued a Family Court appearance tickets.
Investigators say they determined no other people were involved.
