Broome County Emergency Services says the crash happened at around 1 a.m. and closed the exit for a little over an hour. There were no hazardous materials involved.

Authorities say Sheriff’s Deputies were on the scene almost until 4 a.m. at the site near where a tractor trailer carrying liquid natural gas crashed in September, 2019 after hitting two deer on the Interstate near Exit 2.  The driver of that truck was killed in the 1 a.m. crash and dozens of homes in the area were evacuated due to volatile nature of the cargo in that incident.
