Nexstar to Host Virtual Town Hall Meeting Tonight

Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. is hosting a multi-market Virtual Town Hall meeting tonight (Tuesday) from 7-8 PM. The telecast will be aired locally on Nextstar affiliate WIVT-TV, NewsChannel 34 in Binghamton and online at BinghamtonHomepage.com. Audio from the event will also be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF and wnbf.com. The broadcast will be hosted by WTEN-TV/WXXA-TV in Albany.

Eight U.S. Representatives from upstate New York will take part including: Anthony Brindisi, Democrat from the 22nd District; Antonio Delgado, Democrat from the 19th District; Tom Reed, Republican from the 23rd District and five others.  Viewers can email questions for the panel at: News@news10.com.

The representatives taking part will address the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic.  They will also take questions submitted by viewers .  Due to social distancing restrictions on large gatherings the participating representatives will take part remotely.

In all 15 Nexstar owned television stations will carry the telecast. Coverage extends across 49 upstate counties providing access to over six million viewers.
