Authorities say injuries suffered in a head-on crash in Newark Valley July 6 are non-life threatening.

Nearby residents said they heard the loud collision and feared people had been seriously hurt

Three women were taken to Wilson hospital after the vehicles collided on Route 38B at around 2 p.m. There is no information on their names or extent of injuries.

New York State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
