New York State Police Look for Suspect in Cortlandville Store Theft

New York State Police are trying to find a man seen leaving a store in Cortlandville on a bicycle January 7 after stealing some items and dumping a bag as he fled.

Troopers say the bag contained items that were not stolen from Country Max Store on State Route 13.

Authorities were called to the store at around 5:30 p.m. on the 7^th for the reported theft of ietms but the suspect had fled eastabound on State Route 13 before Troopers arrived.

The man is white and was wearing a camouflage vest, a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head, a baseball hat, dark pants and a face mask.
