New York State Police Look for Shooter in Tompkins County
A shooter responsible for wounding a man in Groton early October 10 is still on the loose.
New York State Police say shortly after 7:30 a.m. a 30-year-old man was shot outside a home on East Cortland Street and the suspect fled the area in a dark-colored Mercedes traveling south on Williams Street.
The gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.

The Groton Village Police and Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office have also been working with State Police on the investigation, which is continuing.
