Authorities are looking for a suspect who allegedly passed three fake $100 bills in Cortlandville.

New York State Police say a woman is seen on store surveillance using three counterfeit $100 bills to pay for electronic items on December 22 just after 2 p.m. at the Walmart on Bennie Road.

The woman appears to be black, in her early 20s, standing about 5’, 5” tall, of thin build with black braided hair but had a hood from her coat over her head and she was recorded using a cell phone while walking through the store.

Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police in Homer at (607) 749-1617. (Reference case SJS 8658795.)
