New York State Police Ask for Help Finding Children’s Home Runaways
New York State Police are turning to the public for help in trying to find a couple run-aways from the Children’s Home in Hillcrest.
Troopers say the boys went missing from the Children’s Home of the Wyoming conference on August 11 and numerous steps to locate the teens have been taken “with no luck.”
16-year-old Andrew Wellman Jr. is white, with brown hair and brown eyes, standing five-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white windbreaker, black pants and a red, white and blue bandana. He has ties to the Endicott area.
14-year-old Giovanni Spagnola is a light-skinned Black male with brown hair, brown eyes and stands five-feet, six-inches tall. He weighs around 145 pounds and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue or black pants and a pink and purple bandana. He has ties to the Auburn and Syracuse areas.
State Police say it’s not known if the boys are still together.
