New Endicott Shooting Information Released

An Endicott Police investigation reveals that the victim in a shooting incident early January 30 at an apartment complex at Nanticoke Avenue and East Franklin Street accidentally shot himself.

The man was wounded shortly after 12 a.m. and taken to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

District Attorney Steven Cornwell says, while the wound apparently was accidentally self-inflicted, charges are pending.

The 23 year old man’s name has not been released and officials are stressing that there is no active search for a shooter in this case.
