
Move Over: New York State Trooper Hurt While Working at Crash Scene
New York State Police are again reminding motorists of the move-over law after a trooper was hurt while investigating a crash near Syracuse.

The Trooper was at a two-vehicle crash in Salina with lights activated at 8:20 a.m. January 22 when a van hit the rear of the patrol car.
The officer was treated for minor head and back injuries.
The driver of the Ford van was identified as 38-year-old Jessica Reidy of Skaneatles. She was charged ticketed for failure to move over for an emergency vehicle. She was not hurt.
Route 370, also known as the Onondaga Lake Parkway, in Salina was closed for several hours.
