Most Holy Rosary Hosts Weekend Celebration

Most Holy Rosary, Route 26 in Maine, NY is set for its annual Oktoberfest this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  This is the church's biggest fund-raising event and ushers in autumn in our area.

Events get underway at 6:00 PM on Friday night and go til 11 PM.  On Saturday festivities begin at 2:00 PM and run till 11 PM.  Then on Sunday entertainment and food are available beginning at 11:00 AM and continuing until 3:00 PM.

Most Holy Rosary's Oktoberfest features a variety of food including Manhattan Clam Chowder, ethnic foods and desserts.  Visitors can take part in games of chance, a bake sale, basket raffle and and children's games.  There is also a Super Raffle where you could win $10,000.  Proceeds from the three-day event benefit various projects connected with Most Holy Rosary Church.

Entertainment kicks off at 7:00 PM on Friday with "Old Friends".  On Saturday "Messy Truth" performs from 2-5 PM.  The "BC Celtic Pipe and Drum Corps" entertains from 6:30 - 7:00 PM and "Frost Bit Blue" from 7:30 - 11:00 PM.  On Sunday "Crossfire" will be featured from 11:30 AM-2:30 PM.
