A few thunderstorms are possible. The storms may produce locally heavy rain.

As of early November 1, it appeared that the greatest potential for heavy rain would be Friday and Friday night from northeast Pennsylvania into the Catskills. Forecasters say few thunderstorms will even be possible on November 2.

Rainfall may cause flooding issues and runoff into area creeks and rivers may lead to isolated minor river flooding into the weekend.

Even with a relatively small amount of rain, the potential for flooding is increased due to saturated ground condition and less growing vegetation to take up the moisture.
