Man Sprayed with Acid During Binghamton Dispute
A man was taken to a hospital after he was exposed to a chemical during a disturbance at a Binghamton residence.
Police were called to 9 Titchener Place around noon Monday for a reported dispute involving two men at the two-family house in the First Ward.
The disturbance apparently had ended by the time officers arrived at the scene. But fire medics and a Superior ambulance were called to evaluate one of the men.
The man indicated he had been sprayed with some type of acid during the incident. His injuries were not believed to be serious.
Police said both men involved in the dispute knew each other and the attack was not random.
It was not known whether police planned to file charges in connection with the incident.
