Man Pronounced Dead After Propane Truck Crash
A Delaware County man who was driving a propane truck has died following a crash.
According to New York State Police, 62-year-old Edward Walley Jr. of Delhi was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the crash occurred on Town Brook Road at Red Rock Road in the town of Stamford. It was reported around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The truck veered off the roadway and went into a ditch before striking a utility pole and rolling onto its passenger side.
Officials say Walley may have experienced a medical issue, causing the crash. They say he was not wearing a seat belt.
