Man Climbs Through Window to Steal from Ex

Johnson City Police say a neighbor saw a Village man climbing through his ex-girlfriend’s window and stealing items.

Police say they arrested 54 year old Thomas Capranri October 4^th after a citizen reported seeing Capranri get in through the window on Crocker Avenue when the woman wasn’t home and making off with jewelry.

Capranri was found right in the driveway of the home attempting to leave and the jewelry was recovered.

Police say there was also an order of protection against Capranri, ordering him to stay away from his ex-girlfriend and her home.

He was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal contempt and sent to the Broome County Jail.
