Authorities say Gordon Crawford II of Towanda was arrested on Thanksgiving Day.

Investigators say Crawford was taken into custody following a complaint that the man was inside a residence at Airways Trailer Park in Owego without permission. He also was accused of assisting a runaway child.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Crawford was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and endangering the welfare of a child.

Crawford was arraigned in Tioga town court and sent to jail on $500 bail.

Crawford was directed to return to court on December 14.
