A "silent vigil" to honor the memory of Good organized by the Tioga County Democratic Committee was held Sunday afternoon in Owego.

Several dozen people - many wearing black - gathered in front of the county courthouse. Those at the vigil talked quietly among themselves. At one point, a woman called for a moment of silence in Good's memory.

Dozens of people attended a Sunday afternoon demonstration in front of the Oakdale Commons in Johnson City. That event was organized by Indivisible Binghamton and other Broome County organizations.

Most of those who gathered along Harry L Drive stayed for about an hour but some of the protesters remained to express anger over the deadly Minneapolis shooting, ICE-related actions and other Trump administration policies.
