The Maine Black Bears women's basketball team defeated the Binghamton Bearcats in overtime 75-65 on Sunday afternoon at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.  Binghamton and Maine battled to a 61-61 tie through regulation.  In overtime the Black Bears caught fire and outscored BU 14-4. With the win Maine goes to 11-14 overall and ups its conference slate to 7-4.  Binghamton drops to 5-5 in America East and 16-7 overall.

Kai Moon paced the Bearcats with a 17 point game and Carly Boland chipped in with 13 points.  The Black Bears' Maeve Carroll lead all scorers with 24 points.

The road doesn't get any easier.  Binghamton travels to Stony Brook to meet the top team in America East.  The Seawolves are having a superb season.  They are 23-1 and 11-0 in America East.  The Seawolves are riding a 20-game winning streak and are currently ranked 9th in the nation in the College Insider.Com poll.

Wednesday's game is scheduled for a 6:31 (correct) start time.  Air is at 6:15 from the Island Federal Arena on Long Island on CBS 1360 AM WYOS.
