Long-time educator Wayne Barlow of Kirkwood is being remembered for his love of teaching.

Barlow, who was a technology teacher at Johnson City High School for 30 years, passed away August 28 at the age of 62.

After retiring from Johnson City, Barlow continued to teach as a substitute in the Windsor and Susquehanna Valley districts and was a boy scout leader in Windsor.

Family will receive friends September 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Thomas Shea Funeral Home on Robinson Street, Binghamton.  Funeral services will be held September 4 at 10 a.m. at the Conklin Presbyterian Church.
