
Endicott Man Sentenced To Seven Years For Gun And Drug Charges
An Endicott resident has been sentenced to seven years in New York State prison.
According to a release on January 4, 2026, from Broome County District Attorney F. Paul Battisti, 26-year-old Jahmeek Bey-Jones, from Endicott, was sentenced to seven Years followed by five years of post-release supervision.
Bey-Jones, convicted after trial on October 23, 2025, was found guilty of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree – Ammunition Feeding Device, three counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degre and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

The conviction stems from October 22, 2024, when members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force located the Bey-Jones vehicle at the intersection of Clinton and Water Streets in Binghamton.
The release notes that a vehicle stop was conducted, Bey-Jones was detained without incident, and provided officers with a key to his residence, where deputies located a backpack containing several items, including a 9mm Sig Sauer P365 handgun (later confirmed to have been reported stolen by the Williamsport, Pennsylvania Police Department), and a loaded high-capacity Sig Sauer magazine.
Other items discovered in the home search included a digital scale, a rubber glove containing a substance that later tested positive for cocaine, and additional cocaine recovered from the kitchen area.
After being arrested and transported to the Broome County Correctional Facility, during a search of Bey-Jones, he removed a knotted wrap from his genital area containing approximately 3.8 grams of multicolored pills, resulting in an additional charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
This conviction reflects the dangerous intersection of illegally possessing firearms and narcotics trafficking in our community. The recovery of a stolen firearm and illegal drugs from this Defendant underscores the very real risks this Defendant posed to our public’s safety.
