Lehigh Too Much For Bearcats Women

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team dropped a 65-55 decision to the Lehigh Mountain Hawks at the Events Center on Wednesday afternoon. Senior Rebecca Carmody scored a career high 27 points to pace the Bearcat offense.  Carmody also grabbed seven rebounds for BU.

Lehigh led 25-20 at halftime.  Binghamton continued to battle back in the second half and trailed by a single point...50-49 with 5:21 to go in the game but could not over the Mountain Hawks.  Lehigh would respond every time the Bearcats looked rto take the lead.

With the win Lehigh ups its record to 4-1.  Binghamton falls to 3-3.  The Bearcats will play their third of four straight games at home when they host Army on Sunday at 2:00 P. (air at 1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF)
