Police in Johnson City have issued a "Wanted" poster for a man sought in connection with a shooting incident that injured a village resident.

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public in locating 20-year-old Spencer Chapman of Johnson City.

Chapman is a suspect in the shooting that happened on Grand Avenue near Boland Drive late Tuesday night. Investigators say he's wanted for attempted murder.

The suspect is described as a white man; medium build; five feet, five inches tall; 115 pounds with curly brown hair.

The poster advises those who might spot Chapman not to approach him. They should call 911 or the Johnson City police at 607.729.9321.

Three other suspects in the shooting investigation have been charged in the case. 17-year-old Tacoma Chapman, 18-year-old Jonathan Chapman and 18-year-old Caleb Casteline have been charged with second-degree attempted murder.

A 37-year-old Grand Avenue man was shot and stabbed after an argument escalated. He was treated at Wilson Medical Center and released.
