Johnson City Man Charged With Felony Weapon Possession
Johnson City Police say a Village resident is accused of having a handgun during a reported dispute.
Police were called to Elizabeth Street near Grand Avenue at 9:30 a.m. September 24 with a report of a person with a gun during the course of a dispute.
Authorities say several people were seen leaving the area as police arrived.
21-year-old Keshawn Reavis was detained and Investigators say he was identified as the man with the gun.
The loaded 9 mm handgun was found on the ground between two houses nearby on Grand Avenue.
Reavis is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, felony tampering with physical evidence and misdemeanor menacing.
He was released following his arraignment.
