Johnson City Man Charged With Felony Family Offense

Johnson City Police say a Village man is charged with felony aggravated family offense after a domestic incident was reported on Grand Avenue. 

Authorities say 34-year-old Farrahd Singleton is accused of taking a woman’s phone, biting her, ripping her clothes and dragging her back into the home after she fled before she was able to escape again through a back door and call police from down the street. 

In addition to the felony count, Singleton is charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and unlawful imprisonment and a violation of harassment.

He was released after his arraignment and an order of protection was issued.
