
Johnson City Man Accused of Wrong-Way Drugged Driving
A Johnson City man is accused of driving while he was under the influence of drugs after Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a complaint about a wrong-way driver on Interstate 81.

Authorities say they were called at 12:20 a.m. August 4 about a driver going north in the southbound lane of the interstate in the Town of Cortlandville.
Authorities say they stopped 36-year-old Richard DiPaolo in the area and determined the driver was under the influence.
DiPeolo is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs, refusing to take a breath test and driving the wrong way.
