Police say a Johnson City man stole more than $600 worth of liquor from a Broome County store.

Authorities say 24-year-old Terrell Jeffries has been charged with second-degree identity theft, a felony.

According to state police, Jeffries allegedly used a stolen credit card to make purchases at Artisan Liquors on Chapel Street in the Town of Windsor. The incidents occurred on two different days in April.

Jeffries was arraigned in Windsor town court. He's being held in Chenango County Jail on an unrelated charge.
