Is Your Favorite Southern Tier New York Diner On This List?
I recently asked on social media what your favorite local diner is. Who doesn't love at least one local diner? The Southern Tier of New York and Northeast Pennsylvania have many options.
As I have previously mentioned, my wife and I try to visit at least one local diner a week. There is nothing quite like the taste of great, local food, chatting with the owners, and giving them a huge thumbs up when asked how our meal was.
Even better, is when you walk into your local diner and the staff remember you. It's a perk of the regular customer. And the smaller the town, the more you may be recognized. I found that out when we visited local diners during camping season in the Towanda, Pennsylvania area.

Some other diners mentioned outside of the top 15 include the Windsor Diner in Windsor, Riverview Diner in Lisle, Lawton Diner in Lawton, Pa., Gigi's in Apalachin, Our Country Hearts in Union ( Endicott), The Reveille in Binghamton, Jen's in Nichols, Becky's in Waverly, Dobb's in Great Bend, Chat A Whye in Apalachin, the Red Oak in Binghamton, Take-A-Break in Vestal, Marios - Rainbow and Harris all in Owego, Queen City in Endicott, Nana's In Wysox, PA. and Bingham's Diner in Kingsley, Pa.
While each one of these diners mentioned below is fantastic, and it may be hard to compare any of them any better than the other, here are the top 15 most mentioned from my question, what is your favorite local diner? Here we go...
