Homer Woman Charged in DWI Crash in Cortlandville
A Homer woman is charged with drunk driving after her vehicle plowed into a street sign and fire hydrant on Highland Road in the Town of Cortlandville at around 5 p.m. August 1.
Sheriff’s officials say 43 year old Kelly Sovocool is accused of being intoxicated at the time and driving with her license suspended.
She was not hurt in the crash.
Sovocool is also charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level at more than .18%, aggravated unlicensed operation and making an improper right turn.
She was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $1,000 bail.
