Groundbreaking at Tioga Downs

Tioga Downs will hold a groundbreaking ceremony October 30 at 3:00 p.m. to kickoff a multi-million dollar expansion.  The expansion stems from the recent announcement that the New York State Gaming Board has recommended awarding a full gaming casino license to Tioga Downs.

The public is invited to be on hand for the event.  Owner Jeff Gural will welcome a number of dignitaries and guests who will be there to take part in the ceremony.

The ceremony ushers in Halloween Weekend with free cake offered from 1:00 until 10:00 Friday night.  Visitors that day are encouraged to bring two cans of food for the Southern Tier Food Bank.  With that donation of food will come a lunch or dinner buffet available for $5.00.  Festivities include a Halloween Party from 9:00 p.m. until midnight Saturday.
