The crew of American Pickers are no strangers to the Southern Tier having visited our area a couple of times over the years including in 2014 when the show filmed at the long since closed Showtime Costumes on Main Street in Binghamton along with a barn filled with treasures owned by Niki and Ronnie Striss.

As part of the show’s 23rd season hosts, Mike and Robbie Wolfe are on the hunt for more treasures, specifically unique objects, and heirlooms.  According to the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce, American Pickers is planning to roll through the Twin Tiers in June and will not only be looking for great pieces of Americana and quirkiness but will also be filming for its television show.

If you or someone you know has amassed an interesting collection, American Pickers would love to check out your treasure. All collections must be privately owned and if you would like to be considered, you will need to send your name, phone number, location of your items, and a description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 646-493-2184.

Noticeably missing from American Pickers is fan favorite Frank Fritz. Fritz made his last appearance on the show in 2020 before taking time off for back surgery. While it seems Fritz believed he would rejoin the show, things spiraled out of control and he was asked to not return to American Pickers. Today, Fritz is battling tax woes and pitching his own show, although there doesn't seem to be interest from anyone in making that a reality.
