According to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals at Nevins Farm, there is an "urgent need" for the animals to be adopted and not by just one person (although of someone lives on a farm and has the means...).

The animals were part of a rescue in which they were taken by law enforcement from a property in January of 2022. Along with the goats and emu was a rescued mustang who was taken to a non-profit animal welfare organization in Maine earlier this year.

A judge ordered the owner of the animals to post a $100,000 bond by July 29, 2022, but the owner failed to do so which means that these little sweeties will need to find a new place to live.

According to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals at Nevins Farm, the organization is "sounding the alarm in hopes adopters will step forward to bring home one or some goats—including babies29 of them to be precise.

Anyone interested in adopting the goats should fill out this inquiry form and detail how many goats you are interested in adopting as well as your preferred genders along with other questions such as whether or not you have proper housing, experience with goats, and so forth.

Anyone interested in adopting Jerry the emu should fill out this form, making sure to specify the animal you are interested in is an emu and that his name is Jerry.
