The Greater Binghamton Chamber announces its 34th annual Broome Leadership Class of 2021.

There are many things that make up a community, and learning how and what makes it work is part of the Broome Leadership Institute’s six month community leadership program.

According to a news release from the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, the program is designed to develop people with leadership skills who have a commitment to the community and want to make positive contributions.

The Broome Leadership Institute (BLI) is sponsored by the Greater Binghamton Education Outreach program, and affiliate organization of the Chamber.

Each year sections are made from each class that takes place from September through March with two full day sessions each month.

These sessions focus on the behind scenes of our community, the problems we face and learning how we can help make a positive difference.

The Release highlights topics such as Economic Development, Courts and the Penal system, Innovations Leadership. Diversity, Media, Government, and many other parts of our community infrastructure.

This Thursday March 25th twenty area participants will graduate as members of the Broome Leadership Institute class of 2021.

The ceremony will be a part of a dinner and ceremony at the Binghamton County Club from 6pm to 8pm this Thursday.

There will be a virtual live stream available on the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page.
