Former Delhi Official Charged With Grand Larceny
The former Delhi Highway Deputy Superintendent is accused of overstating his sick and leave time.
The New York State Comptroller’s Office says 63-year-old Brian Rosenthal is charged with grand larceny.
Rosenthal is accused of exaggerating time owed by 272 hours between 2015 and 2019. The Comptroller’s Office says that gave Rosenthal more than $6,000 to which he was not entitled.
The hours-issues were uncovered during a routine audit and an investigation was launched by Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office, New York State Police and Delaware County District Attorney John Hubbard.
