Rosenthal is accused of exaggerating time owed by 272 hours between 2015 and 2019. The Comptroller’s Office says that gave Rosenthal more than $6,000 to which he was not entitled.
The hours-issues were uncovered during a routine audit and an investigation was launched by Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office, New York State Police and Delaware County District Attorney John Hubbard.
