
21 Forgery Counts for Delaware Home Health Care Nurse
A Delaware County home health care nurse is accused of stealing, forging and depositing checks from a patient and her family.
Sheriff’s officials say, following a three-month investigation, they have charged 46-year-old Gweyn Brockway of Davenport with 21 felony counts of Forgery and one felony count of Grand Larceny.
Investigators say Brockway is accused of fraudulently taking over $17,000 from the bank account of a woman she was hired to provide care for.
Brockway has been issued tickets directing her to appear in Town of Sidney Court at a later date.
