Food-A-Bago for CHOW Feeds Thousands

The recently completed Food-A-Bago for CHOW was a huge success.  Thanks to your incredible generosity the final tally of food and cash donations is enough to provide 11,720 meals !  The goal that was set was 10,000 pounds.

The total weight of food collected was 7,907 pounds...just short of four tons !  Along with that amount comes an additional 1,358 pounds of food collected at other area Weis Markets.Along with cash donations received during the event the result is a major plus for hungry and needy families in our community.

CHOW will provide well over one million meals to individuals and families this year.  The need continues to increase in these tough economic times.  The Food-A-Bago provided by Hillcrest RV was jammed with food with more donations put directly into the Broome Bounty truck placed nearby.  Fidelis Care sponsored the Food-A-Bago which was parked in the Wies Market parking lot on Upper Front Street in Binghamton.
