Florida Man Ticketed for Tractor Trailer Crash on I81 in Cortlandville

A truck driver from Florida is facing charges after his tractor trailer crashed into a guiderail in the Town of Cortlandville.

New York State Police say 31-year-old Enmanuel DeJesus Holguin Mejia of Pembroke Pines allegedly was driving too fast for conditions on Interstate 81 at 4:45 p.m. July 30 when he swerved into the guiderail.

Holguin-Mejia was ticketed for speed not reasonable, moving from a lane unsafely, failure to use designated lane, failure to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of a change of address and having a false logbook.

Holguin-Mejia was not injured in the crash.
