Good Shepherd Village in Endwell is hosting a CarFit event to make sure older drivers stay safe.

CarFit is a national program developed by AAA, AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association to give a quick check on how well an older driver and their vehicle work together.

Things change with aging including vision, flexibility, strength, range of motion and even size and height.

Trained CarFit volunteers will provide information for the safest fit for older drivers and their vehicles.

The event September 7 is from noon to 2 p.m. at 32 Village Drive, Endwell.
