No injuries are reported in a two-alarm fire that has destroyed an Endwell man’s home.  Authorities say the occupant of the house on Wayne Street was home at the time but managed to escape.

The Broome County Sheriff’s Deputy arriving first on the scene reported the building fully involved.

The cause of the 11:04 p.m. fire is under investigation but Fox 40 identifies the owner as Brent Fallon who told them a welding torch fell, starting the blaze.

Dozens of firefighters from Endwell, Endicott and Union Center along with New York State Police and emergency services crews from several agencies were still on the scene for several hours.
