Felony Weapon Possession Setencing
A Nichols man could be spending the next 15 years in prison following his scheduled sentencing in Broome County Court.
According to the Broome County Court schedule, 36 year old Theodore Cooper was due to be handed jail time October 12 for his conviction on a charge of violent felony criminal possession of a weapon.
Cooper was arrested by Endicott Police July 4, 2017 as authorities accused him of being a convicted felon and knowingly possessing a loaded .380 handgun in a location other than his home or place of business.
Cooper was convicted earlierthis year.
