Endwell Man Pleads Not Guilty to Raping Teen
An Endwell man is under indictment on five counts including felony rape in connection with alleged sexual incidents involving a teenage girl that started in 2015.
40 year old Scott Fredenburg has pleaded not guilty. He was arrested July 16 after a Broome County Grand Jury handed up the sealed indictment.
Prosecutors say Fredenburg is accused of sexually abusing a 13 year old girl in 2015 and continuing to have sexual contact with the child from September to November that year and again in January of 2016. In those incidents, prosecutors claim the contact was forced, resulting in the rape charge.
He is charged with rape, sexual abuse and criminal sexual act and is being held in the Broome County Jail.
Fredenburg is due to go on trial in October.
