Endicott Man Faces Felony in Auto Parts Theft Investigation
Police say a Broome County man has been accused of stealing car parts and then taking them to a scrap yard.
According to New York State Police, 25-year-old Dillion Clapp of Endicott was arrested following an investigation into the theft of items in Chenango County about one year ago.
Authorities say Clapp is accused of breaking into a garage on Route 26 in the Town of Otselic and stealing various automotive parts. He then allegedly took the items to a scrapyard in Onondago County.
Clapp turned himself in to state police in Sidney. He was released following his arraignment. He's scheduled to appear in Otselic town court on September 14.
