Police have made an arrest after a man fired a handgun at two people during a dispute in Endicott.
Authorities say 31-year-old Charles Brown of Endicott has been charged with second-degree attempted murder.
Investigators say Brown was tracked to 22 Lincoln Avenue. He was taken into custody by the Broome-Endicott SWAT team with assistance from the Broome County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police.
Brown was wanted in connection with a shooting incident early Saturday morning. He allegedly fired a gun toward two people during what police described as a "domestic incident" in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. No injuries were reported in the dispute.
Brown was being held in the Endicott Police Department lockup pending his arraignment.
