Endicott Man Accused of Hitting a Man With Piece of Wood
An Endicott man is being charged with felony tampering with evidence following a dispute on Catherine Avenue in the Town of Union October 18 at 2:50 a.m.
New York State Police in Endwell say during a dispute with another man, 32 year old Johnathan Watts is accused of hitting the man in the head with a piece of wood several times.
While he was being arrested, Watts reportedly was found with a small amount of marijuana.
The victim was taken to Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center for treatment of cuts to his head and bruises on his arm.
Watts is also charged with misdemeanor menacing and assault and the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.
Watts was released on his own recognizance with a court date in December and an order of protection was issued.
